Homeschool families, join us at the library on Wednesday, September 16 @ 10:30-11:30 for our first Homeschool Hangout of the school year! We're learning about artist Alma Woodsey Thomas and experimenting with her bold, mosaic art style.

Hang out with us on Tuesday!

Toddler Playtime @ 10:30 - 11:30 | Enjoy unstructured playtime with your littles at the library! Toys, sensory play, and art supplies will be available. This is an unsupervised, drop-in program for ages 0-5, so all children should be accompanied by an adult.

Teen Zone @ 3:30 - 5:00 | This week we're making mug cookies and Italian sodas! This program is for students in grades 6-12th.

🎺🎺🎺PROGRAM UPDATE: Due to events beyond our control, we are rescheduling Dolly Day and joining the national trend of hosting a celebration of our beloved Dolly Parton on September 25 (9.25). We'll kick things off at 5:00 p.m., so, if you're working 9 to 5 on that Friday, you can swing by for a sparkling tribute to this singular soul.

Hey, Valdez! Make-It Mondays are back! Come craft a magical fairy cottage and meet new friends at our free Fairy House Workshop!

Join Debbie at the Library for a fun, relaxing evening where adults (18+) can tap into their creativity, build fanciful fairy cottage facades from natural and recycled materials, and chat with fellow community members. No experience is needed, and all supplies are provided.

When: Monday, September 14 at 4:30 p.m.

Where: Valdez Library, A/V Room
