Georgia Home visiting Program is a Lowndes/Valdosta Commission for Children & Youth, Inc. (LCCY) initiative that is part of the statewide home visiting initiative under Public Health. GSGL is sponsored by Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and utilizes First Steps Georgia, Parents As Teachers and the Lowndes County community to offer parents support and the necessary resources to naviga

te the period of early childhood. We service 5 counties; Echols, Cooks, Brooks, Colquitt and Lowndes. Our Parents as Teachers curriculum is offered free of charge to all Lowndes County parents that are expecting, new parents and families with children up to 5 years of age. Great Start Georgia Lowndes wants to be sure every child in our county gets a “great start” in life.
