Creativity was in full focus in Mrs. Fletcher’s First Grade Discovery class! As part of the Primary Education Thinking Skills (PETS) curriculum, students created their own “Brainfocals” and brainstormed imaginative ideas just like Isabel the Inventor! Our young thinkers had a great time solving problems, exploring possibilities, and letting their creativity shine!

Mrs. Allen is passionate about ensuring every student and team member receives the support needed to succeed. She played an instrumental role in developing our school improvement plan and schedule for this year. Although the schedule changed, her dedication to supporting the work never did!

Mrs. Allen consistently models a “How can I help?” mindset, and we are proud to celebrate her commitment, leadership, and heart for CES! Congratulations, Mrs. Allen—you are truly appreciated!

Numbers are coming to life in Mrs. Petty’s class! Our standard-setting mathematicians have been busy building and representing numbers 1 through 40 using hands-on base ten blocks. Beyond just counting, students are working together to explain their reasoning and show how they know their answers are spot-on. We love seeing such bright teamwork and big place-value breakthroughs in action!
