Valdosta Army Recruiters are going to be attending the Master Recruiter Badge testing tomorrow April 15th in the office. Please reach out to your recruiter and verify the time/location of your next appointment and if need be rescheduling for later that day or the following day. Fort Moore is renamed Fort Benning, effective immediately.

The renaming honors the legacy of Cpl. Fred G. Benning, a Distinguished Service Cross recipient, who heroically served in Machine-Gun Company, 16th Infantry Regiment, American Expeditionary Forces, in France during World War I.

‼️LETS GOOOO VALDOSTA RECRUITING STATION‼️

During the month of November Valdosta’s Recruiting Station Commander Sergeant First Class Hatchel was at Fort Nosovel, Alabama for Senior Leader Course. Regardless of being away from the station. With the help of his team SFC Hatchel achieved 3 enlistments during November 👏

Staff Sergeant Hampton stepped up while SFC Hatchel was attending school and ran all operations for the station for the month of November as a first year Recruiter while also achieving 4 enlistments during November! 👏

Staff Sergeant Harrell took some well deserved time off during the month of December and still achieved an enlistment WHILE ON LEAVE!! 👏

Staff Sergeant Moffatt one of our newest members of the team and also new to recruiting achieved 2 Enlistments during the month of November!! 👏

Overall Valdosta Recruiting Station was faced with challenges throughout November with being down 2 Recruiters. Regardless they pushed through and achieved 160% VOLUME MISSION FOR THE REGULAR ARMY and 200% VOLUME MISSION FOR THE ARMY RESERVES!!!! 👏

Valdosta Recruiting Station is the prime example of excellence with Leaders who work as a team and who are committed to making the Army the Number One fighting force in the World 🌎 Now let’s all go and enjoy Thanksgiving with your loved ones and spend some much needed family time 🇺🇸🦅🧑‍🧒‍🧒

Our very own Valdosta Recruiters at work HARD today!!
During these hard times recovering from the latest Hurricane destruction our recruiters did not forget why they joined the Army. To SERVE the people of the UNITED states and to LIVE the Army Values.
A huge shout out to and Staff Sergeant Hatchel’s wife and kids for making today happen. Today’s success was only achievable due to our recruiters and their own efforts.

Today our Recruiters coordinated, organized and distributed supplies from Valdostas POD (point of distribution) centers to smaller communities that do not have access to water, food or any other supplies. Our Recruiters took their own vehicles and brought initiative to these POD center leaders and asked how they could help and if they could transport supplies to areas in NEED of help. Help was provided to our senior citizen apartments downtown Valdosta, Hahira Georgia, and ware county (Waycross). Tomorrow they plan to continue the mission of providing Aid to those in need and help where they can in surrounding areas like Clinch County, Echols county and much more.

Remember we are ALL in this together. All it takes is one individual to start and everyone will gather to help and get our community back to where it was ❤️
