Our boat deputies had the privilege of spending the day near the water with local veterans during this free fishing weekend. They shared stories, laughs, and lunch. We’re grateful for the men and women who’ve served our country, and it meant a lot to share the day with them out at quiet, peaceful Lake Owyhee! Thanks to those who made this happen!

❗️PSA❗️
As temperatures rise, Mormon crickets will start making their presence known, especially in Southern Malheur County - where they love to sun‑bathe on the hot pavement like they’re on summer vacation.

These little guys can create slick, hazardous road conditions when they gather in large groups, so be prepared for changing traction.

Keep an eye out for them.
While they’re working on their tan, you just need to work on getting past them safely.

What an incredible day at our 16th Annual SERT Family Fun Shoot!
We want to congratulate all of this year’s winners and extend a huge thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the shooting events and silent auction.
This event would not be possible without the generosity of our amazing local businesses who donated a fantastic meal, along with all of our local station sponsors whose continued support helps make this fundraiser such a success year after year.
Because of your support, our SERT team is able to continue operating and serving our community. As the only tactical team readily available in our county, this fundraiser is critical in helping us purchase essential safety equipment and provide ongoing training for our members.
Thank you for standing behind our team and helping us stay prepared to serve and protect our county. We truly appreciate every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and participant who made this event possible.
We’re already looking forward to next year!
