From the Desk of Supervisor Fulgenzi:
Veterans — You’re Invited!
Have you served honorably with active duty service? We invite you to stop by our Open House at American Legion Post 1038 in Valhalla and learn more about how you can continue serving your fellow veterans, supporting our active-duty military, and making a difference in our local community.
Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2026
Time: Drop in anytime between 4:00–7:00 PM
Location: American Legion Post 1038 - 27 Legion Drive, Valhalla, NY
This is a great opportunity to meet members of the Post 1038, learn about the programs and services we provide, and discover the many ways you can stay connected to the military community through the American Legion.
We will also be joined by a New York State Department of Veterans Services Advisor, who will be available to answer questions and provide information about benefits and services available to veterans.
Whether you’re recently separated from military service or have been a veteran for many years, come see what Post 1038 is all about.
Your service didn’t end when you left the military. There are still ways to serve, connect, and make a difference.
Stop by. Meet us. Learn more. We’d be honored to welcome you!
