IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Applications for state board committees are now open. Upon approval of the CCR Chair and the Chair of the Committee, you may be approved to be on the committees you apply for. Each committee has 5 members in addition to the Chair. Listed below are the 5 current committees, and any Californian CR with an interest in improving the organization, in furthering the College Republican cause, or with a passion for the conservative movement may apply to be a member of any committee. Applications will be open for one week and will close Tuesday November 28th at 5pm.

The Resolutions Committee shall be responsible for making policy recommendations and for receiving and encouraging members to engage in policy proposals. Its goal is to increase engagement and sense of efficacy within the org.

The Credentials Committee shall be responsible for chartering chapters, reviewing chartering materials and appropriation of delegates.

The Constitutional Review Committee shall create proposals for constitutional amendments, assist members in submitting constitutional amendments, and provide a report to the Executive Committee prior to the final Annual Convention on the status of the constitution and pending amendments.

The Platform Committee shall be responsible for creating formal policy positions of the California College Republicans. The goal of the committee is to clearly establish what the California College Republicans stands for and to distinctly identify the goals of the organization, as they have not been clear in the past. It is our hope that with a clear stated mission, clear goals and a clear platform we will be able to better recruit members and better represent the organization.

The Finance Committee shall prepare a plan and be in charge of implementing the plan for raising funds for CCR and assisting the Chairman in drafting a budget and in the appropriation of funds pursuant to the budget. It shall create annual reports for the Board of Directors meeting, create reports upon the request of the Executive Committee, and issue annual audit reports.
