Congratulations to, Super Dave!

Join us in congratulating David Fitz, Head Custodian at Steffan Manor Elementary, on being named our Classified Employee of the Year!

Mr. Fitz plays a vital role in making Steffan Manor a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained ecosystem for students, staff, and families. Known for his strong work ethic and attention to detail, he goes above and beyond every day, whether it’s keeping the campus spotless, responding to unexpected needs, or preparing for special events.

Principal Zander shares, “Dave is an essential part of what makes our school a safe, welcoming, and well-cared-for place. His dedication, reliability, planning ahead, and pride in his work truly make a difference—our school is better because of him.”

Dear Families,

We’ve recently seen several accidents across our district during drop-off and pick-up times, and we want to ensure the safety of all students, staff, and families on and around campus.

Please take extra care when driving by following all traffic rules, using designated drop-off areas, driving slowly, and staying alert for pedestrians—especially our young students. Avoid double parking, making unsafe U-turns, or using your phone while driving.

Your attention and cooperation make a big difference in keeping everyone safe. Thank you for doing your part to protect our school community.

Reminder! All students must be accompanied by an adult for the entire event. They may not be dropped off and left. This is not a couple dance, but a fun family event! No “dates”.
