Recently, kindergarteners at Wheatland learned about a routine they can use to help them stay calm when it is time to put away a device (part of our digital citizenship standards): “Pause, Breathe, Finish Up!” Here are some drawings several students did of themselves with a favorite device. Enjoy!

The library had an awesome guest library teacher today! She helped check in 148 books, then sorted and looked through them for any repairs needed. She also helped make materials for centers, created a display of her favorite books, and read aloud to Mrs. Younts’ kindergarten class!

2nd graders have spent the last several weeks learning about how all of our nonfiction books are organized. Their final task: a scavenger hunt to find nonfiction books from different sections in our library. There was some amazing teamwork and problem solving going on!
