I am a real human, growing real microgreens. Until now, I have not had any photos of my face. Any face to be precise.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And that ends today! Here’s a photo of me at this past weekend’s Valley Center Valentine’s Day Bazaar hosted by the Women of Valley Center 💖

Transparency between producers and consumers is one very important to me, so I better start practicing what I preach!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And so I can personally no longer feel like a faceless creature on this account!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So hello there kind reader, let me finally introduce myself.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m Angelina, a Honolulu-grown San Diego transplant.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am internationally educated in sustainable development, have years of experience in the food and beverage industry, and am currently studying holistic living.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The economic shutdown was my chance to pursue this business.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I dream of change. The positive kind. And world peace!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oftentimes, I think about how peace begins with food. It begins with what we put into our bodies, and in turn, creates a ripple effect on what is exuded out into the world around us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Humble Harvests is my effort to plant peace by nourishing my local community, in hopes that I could educate and inspire others all over the world to take care of themselves, take care of each other, and take care of our environment.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Why microgreens?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Because they’re adorable and pretty, duh!! But mostly because they’re jam packed with essential vitamins and minerals, dense in nutrients, and easy to incorporate into any meal!
