Fun fact: Did you know bison calves are born with a reddish-orange coat that acts as natural camouflage in the spring grass? ☀️ That’s where their nickname "red dogs" comes from! Over the next few months, they’ll trade that red coat for the famous deep brown.

Worked the herd and weaned the calves the other weekend. This is a video of our young bull, King. Weighing 1,500lbs.
We also had a calf weigh in the 600lb range which was a ranch record.
