Tabling for Denim Day at VCSU!!

Denim Day began in 1999 after an Italian Supreme Court s*xual assault case was overturned on the judgment that the victim was wearing very tight jeans when she was assaulted. Because she wore tight jeans, the justices decided the victim would had to have helped the offender remove the jeans, meaning that the incident was not r**e, but consensual s*x. The following day, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans to protest the ruling and stand in solidarity with the victim.
Today, we continue to wear jeans every Denim Day as a reminder that what we wear is no excuse and never an invitation for r**e.
