Valley View Police Department is proud to have participated in Operation Soteria Shield 2026 alongside the FBI Dallas North Texas Child Exploitation Task Force, the North Texas Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and dozens of partner agencies across Texas.

This coordinated operation resulted in the arrest of 276 child exploitation offenders and the rescue of 89 children. These results represent countless hours of investigative work and the unwavering commitment of law enforcement professionals dedicated to protecting our most vulnerable citizens.

We are especially proud of our own Detective Andrew Poole, who serves as a member of the North Texas ICAC Task Force and worked alongside investigators from across the state to identify offenders, rescue victims, and bring justice to those who exploit children.

Child exploitation remains one of the most serious threats facing our communities. We encourage parents, guardians, educators, and community members to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity. Protecting children is a responsibility we all share.

Thank you to the FBI, ICAC Task Force members, prosecutors, victim advocates, and all participating agencies who made this operation a success.

"764" is a violent, decentralized online criminal network, often described as a "cult" or "gore group," that targets children and teenagers for extreme sexual exploitation, blackmail, and coerced self-harm, animal cruelty, or su***de. The FBI has over 250 active investigations into the group, which operates on platforms like Discord, Roblox, and Snapchat, with members worldwide.

Key Details About 764:

Targeting Tactics: Predators build trust with minors, often aged 10-17, before coercing them into producing graphic content, which is then used for blackmail.

"Sadistic Online Exploitation": The network encourages, broadcasts, and feeds on extreme acts of violence and cruelty against animals, self-harm, and severe harassment.

Origins: The group was founded around 2021, reportedly taking its name from the first three digits of Texas ZIP codes.

Law Enforcement Action: The FBI has warned parents, and multiple leaders and members have been arrested, including founder Bradley Cadenhead (80-year sentence).

Reporting: If you have information or are a victim, contact the FBI, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or local law enforcement.
