Valley School Valley School is a K-8 school located in scenic Valley, Washington.

Throughout its long and esteemed history, the Valley School has provided area students with the highest standard of education and has worked, and will continue to work, closely with families and the community. The Valley School honors its fine academic history with an innovative approach—the Core Knowledge and Spalding curriculum, and an intervention support system that works with each student’s needs.

Student & Parent Handbooks should have come home with your student the first two days of school. Please go over this handbook with your student(s) and sign the acknowledgment that you have done so. Please return the "acknowledgement page" to your students' teacher. The handbook can be found on our website at valleysd.org if you need a refresher or confirmation on any of the content.

After School Directions/ BUS RIDES

We always appreciate notes from parents and guardians when
students’ normal routes home need to be changed. If a note is not possible, then a phone call made to the school before 2:00 p.m. is needed to give special directions. Lastminute notices make it difficult for the office to contact the student. Students without a note or phone call from the parent will be required to follow their usual travel routine.

Angels Anonymous of Indiana and the National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) Marc and Wendy Schneider have donated some wonderful back packs with school supplies. The school building will re-open for the 2026-2027 School Year on Monday, August 17th.
