🏊‍♀️💦 Our second session of June swim lessons is quickly approaching!

If you have a toddler (ages 3–5) or a child (ages 5–12) who needs swim lessons, now is the time to register for Valley Swim Academy! Learning to swim is a lifelong skill that builds confidence, promotes water safety, and creates a foundation for a lifetime of fun in and around the water. 🌊☀️

💦 Session 2 • June 15–26
AM Toddler Lessons (Ages 3–5) | 8:30–9:10 AM
AM Intermediate/Advanced Lessons (Ages 5–12) | 9:20–10:00 AM
PM Toddler Lessons (Ages 3–5) | 5:30–6:10 PM (almost full!)
PM Beginner Lessons (Ages 5–12) | 6:20–7:00 PM (almost full!)
PM Intermediate/Advanced Lessons (Ages 5–12) | 7:10–7:50 PM

The City of Valley has an opening for a Part-Time Senior Nutrition Bus Driver for the Valley Senior Center. Job duties include but are not limited to driving a 10 passenger bus to and from the Senior Center; prepping and delivering lunch trays to homebound clients; maintaining bus, assist in the cleaning of the senior center on a rotating schedule; drive seniors to special events as needed; and other duties as assigned. Hours of this position are approximately 7:45 am – 1:30 pm, Monday thru Friday.
All applicants must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history, and pass a drug screening. Applications can be picked up and dropped off at Valley City Hall or emailed to [email protected]. If you would like a copy of the job description feel free to reach out to the H.R. 🏊‍♂️ The Valley Swim Team is excited to host two home swim meets this summer! VST will be competing at the Valley Community Center on June 11th and June 25th. 🏅

Please note that the VCC Pool will be closed to the public all day on home swim meet days to accommodate the competitions. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Be sure to cheer on our Valley Swim Team swimmers as they represent our community! 📣🌊

🎆Celebrate America's 250th Birthday in Valley! 🎆

Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for an unforgettable Independence Day fireworks display!

🎇 Fireworks will be launched from the Industrial Park.
⏰ Fireworks will begin at dark, approximately 9:45 PM EST.

🅿️ Parking will be available at the Valley Community Center, Sportsplex, Industrial Boulevard, and along Fob James Drive (grass parking, roads must remain clear).

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends as we celebrate 250 years of American independence with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the sky.
