Stay and admire all the unique and beautiful cars, trucks and bikes participating in our Cruise In and enjoy the concert by Bad Medicine. It's gonna be a street party! Carr Township Fire Department would like to encourage everyone to stop by and support our neighbors at the Redding Township Fire Department Fourth Annual Pork Burger & Hot Dog Cookout on Friday, June 13th from 5:00–8:00 PM at the Rockford Fire Station!

Nothing brings a community together quite like good food, fellowship, and supporting the volunteers who answer the call when help is needed. Whether you’re craving a pork burger fresh off the grill, a hot dog, or just looking for a great way to spend your Friday evening — this is a great opportunity to support local volunteer firefighters and the communities they serve.

Tonight Driftwood Fire Department gathered for an excellent meal prepared by Chuck Conrad and crew and awarded the fire fighter of the year award to Jeremy Burcham.

Firefighters from Driftwood Volunteer Fire Department, Brownstown Fire Rescue , and North Washington Volunteer Fire Dept INC. took part in a joint training exercise last weekend.

While the temperature took a dive downward, all involved made the decision to continue onward with the scheduled Ice Rescue Training. We strive to better ourselves any chance we get to better prepare for a real emergency situation.

Thank you to Chuck at Off-Duty Rescue and Tommy Hoffmeier for teaching us and making this a fun training.

We would also like to thank Hackman Family Farm Market for the warm building and frozen pond to train in. We greatly appreciate the hospitality! Look for us to return again!!
