Looking for a great Friday dinner during Lent? St. Peter’s Church is hosting their Lenten Fish Fry and supporting a wonderful cause at the same time!

🛠️ Help Us Improve Our Shelter Spaces 🏠

We are currently in the process of cleaning, organizing, and improving our shelter spaces to better serve the families staying with us. As part of this effort, we are looking to add 5 storage cabinets to help keep supplies organized and our spaces functional for the families in our care.

We are incredibly grateful for Gracepoint Church for donating over 50 blessing bags for the families in our program.

These blessing bags will go directly to families in our shelter program, providing practical essentials and a reminder that our community cares deeply about them during difficult seasons.

A special thank you to Lori and Peggy for stopping by today and delivering a variety of additional donations to support our shelter program. Your kindness, generosity, and heart for families does not go unnoticed.

Today, we were up before the sun to visit Walgreens on Rte 30. The amazing staff spent a year holding fundraisers to support our shelter work. This morning they presented our Operations Director Lisa Swayne with a donation! Thank you to the wonderful people who helped make this happen. We need love our community!

We want to say thank you to our community! In 2025 you supported us in serving 60 people a month, opening 3 transitional housing apartments and, most importantly, merging with Family Promise of Porter County, Indiana. Starting January 1st, we are , a program of Family Promise Porter County. Lisa Swayne will become the Operational Director over both programs and Jason C. Kegebein will take the lead as our Executive Director.

We are stronger together in 2026!
