Storm Damage Reporting Information for Northwest Indiana Residents

If your home or property sustained damage from the recent storms, Lake County Homeland Security/EMA is asking residents to report damage through Indiana 211. Damage reports help local and state agencies assess the overall impact of the storm and determine what resources may become available to assist affected communities.

๐Ÿ“ Report Damage Online

Visit Indiana 211 Damage Reporting Portalโ  at In211.org
Complete the Damage Reporting Form
๐Ÿ“ž Report Damage by Phone

Dial 2-1-1
Or call 866-211-9966
Available Mondayโ€“Friday during operating hours
โš ๏ธ Important: Reporting damage is not an application for assistance. The information collected helps emergency management officials assess the extent of damage and determine whether additional disaster recovery resources may be available.

United Way Northwest Indiana encourages residents in Lake, Porter, Jasper, Newton, and Starke Counties who experienced storm-related damage to complete a damage report as soon as possible. Please continue to use caution around downed power lines, damaged structures, and storm debris.
