The Salvation Army of Porter County provides services to people in need in Porter County, Indiana. Food Pantry is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 1pm-3pm

The Salvation Army is made up of thousands of officers, soldiers, adherents, employees, volunteers and other individuals all working together to holistically meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of those less fortunate. Our organization is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law. The Salvation Army Indiana Division is the administrative unit which provides services to people in need all throughout Indiana. The Salvation Army in Porter County is a part of the Indiana Division, and provides a variety of services to people in need in our community. The Salvation Army is currently officially at work in 131 countries worldwide. It is a Christian organization and part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in his name without discrimination. Our Approach

Just wanted to repost and say that we still have backpacks this week if you want to stop by our office at 799 Capitol Road, Valparaiso

WE GOT TOO MANY BACKPACKS!! So overwhelming that our marketing manager is trying to help advertise! We got backpacks with a FREE Parlor Doughnuts that were in celebration of Donut Day & America's 250th Birthday. We do have some clear bags, colorful, and neutral bags.

If you or someone knows that your child need a backpack (affected by the storms and needs new supplies) please stop by our office - Monday - Thursday: 9am to 4pm | Friday 9am-12pm or contact Addy at [email protected]
