Friends of the Library

Friends of the Library An independent advocate for the Porter County Public Library System. Since 1985, they have raised over $750,000 for PCPLS!

The Friends of the Library is a nonprofit organization that raises funds and promotes the library. Here are just a few ways the library has used these funds:

• Supplement PCPLS Collections
• Support PCPLS Events and Reading Programs
• Tuition Reimbursement for staff education

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 9:30 a.m. in the 2nd floor Boardroom at the Valparaiso Branch.
