The Ewalt Jahnz Lodge 165 will again be doing the Cops and Kids program. This program allows each child in school (Duneland Schools for Liberty Township) to receive up to $100 in school clothes and supplies for the next school year.

To be eligible, you must reside in Liberty Township and have a school aged child enrolled in Duneland Schools.

Please call the township office, leave your name and number and we will contact you to get the needed information.

Don’t shoot the messenger

US 6 to CLOSE to through traffic between IND 49 and WESTVILLE on Monday June 1

U.S. 6 between Ind. 49 and Westville will be closed on or after Monday, June 1, the Indiana Department of Transportation is announcing.

The closure will remain in effect through the end of the July.

INDOT contractor Rieth-Riley Construction will be performing a bridge deck overlay at Coffee Creek.
