• Has operable pedals
• Is powered by an electric motor ≤ 750 watts (1 horsepower)
• Cannot exceed 20 mph under motor power alone

• Has no functional pedals

It then:
• Must be registered and titled with TxDMV
• Requires a Class M motorcycle license
• Must meet insurance and equipment requirements

✅ Safety & Courtesy Tips
• Always wear a helmet
• Ride with traffic and obey signals
• Yield to pedestrians
• Use lights and reflectors at night
• Keep brakes and tires in good condition

We wish to remind our community about the importance of safe gun storage in your homes.

Did you know?
Approximately one-third of homes with children have at least one firearm, and many of those are both unlocked and loaded. This creates a serious safety risk for children and others.

To help keep our community safe, here are some important reminders:

🔐 Store fi****ms securely – locked and unloaded, separate from ammunition.

🧠 Talk to your children about gun safety, even if you don’t own a firearm.

👥 Have conversations with other parents or caregivers about how fi****ms are stored in their homes before your child visits.

🏡 Engage your community – whether at church groups, PTA meetings, or neighborhood events, help spread the message.

Let’s work together to Keep ’Em Safe, Texas!
