Republicans it is time to caucus! See below for your meeting location.

Southwest precinct 1 - Milton American Legion Hall
North precinct 2 - Birmingham American Legion Hall, this is has changed due to the expected cold weather.
Central precinct 3 - District court room in Keosauqua
East precinct 4 - Bonaparte Opera House

Remember we will start promptly at 7PM, so plan to arrive early to be checked in.

There is a debate between Jeff Shipley and Joe Mitchell scheduled for May 19, to be held at the Fairfield High School auditorium. The event will begin at 6:30 PM and the format will include a town hall segment following the debate.

A note from Dale J House :
Good evening Van Buren County Republicans. It is raining on the roof so that puts people into a good mood. I want to encourage each and every one of you to do your best to get out and vote on June 5th. This is my first ever election as a candidate and I would truly appreciate your support. I have enjoyed campaigning so far and it has been fun working on my ads for the paper. For the record I do not nor have I ever smoked but I appreciate all of the people who asked me about the picture taken at the softball complex at the high school. I was holding a Sharpie as I keep the book for the Varsity. It brought a smile to my face knowing that people were looking at my ads and thought enough to ask me about the picture. I look forward to working hard for all citizens of Van Buren County both Republican and Democrat but for me to be able to do that it is going to require that you feel like I am not only capable but trustworthy enough to earn your vote. My plan is to never cause you to question checking the block next to my name first in June and then again in November. I truly appreciate your support and I will work very hard to continue to earn it going forward.
