As we enter severe weather season in Arkansas, this is a reminder that Van Buren School District Safe Rooms are available to the community during non-school hours when a Tornado Warning is issued for Crawford County.

Guidelines and Information:
• Doors unlock only when a Tornado Warning siren sounds for Crawford County
• Safe Rooms close when the warning expires
• Pets allowed only in airline-approved carriers
• Tobacco-free facilities per Arkansas law
• Doors must stay closed during use
• Managed and monitored by a trained Safe Room Manager
