Water System Advisory

On Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM, the Water Department will perform the final tie-in for the new water line along 2nd Street. Work is expected to take approximately four hours.

Parts of the Town may experience low water pressure during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we complete this infrastructure upgrade.

WATER SERVICE UPDATE

The water line tie-in has been successfully completed, and water pressure is currently being restored across the system.

Residents and businesses should begin to see water flowing back through their lines. Pressure will initially remain low, but it will continue to build throughout the afternoon.

Water Conservation Request:
We kindly ask all citizens to conserve water as much as possible for the rest of the day. Limiting non-essential usage will allow the system to regain pressure faster and help our storage tanks refill smoothly.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Scheduled Water Line Tie-In

Work on the new water line along 2nd Street is scheduled to begin at midnight tonight.

Affected Areas: Residents in the immediate 2nd Street area and businesses located south of the railroad tracks.

Service Impact: Potential for low to no water pressure while work is underway.

Timeline: The Water Department will be working continuously overnight with the goal of fully restoring normal water service by morning.
