VCES and VCMS Back to School Nights are almost here!

VCES: August 27, 5:30–7:00 PM (meet in the sanctuary, then classroom presentations)
VCMS: September 3 (check your email next week for campus timing)

As a reminder, teachers will share their plans for the 26-27 school year. This is an adult-only event, please arrange childcare if you can.

So much community building happened across both campuses this week! Some highlights:

📓 5th graders decorated writing notebooks with info about themselves, drawing inspiration from their own stories as young authors�🍽️ 7th and 8th graders settled in and got to know each other over lunch�☕ Parents connected at Back to School Coffees�👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Families came together for Stay and Play

Huge shout out to:�🏫 Our incredible office staff for navigating a thousand needs and requests every single day�👩‍🏫 Our teachers for kicking off a wonderful school year with students�❤️ Our families for showing up and being part of the VCS community

First Week of School... in the books! 🎉 🐺 🐍

First day back at VCMS! 🐍

So great to see the campus full again: new sixth graders finding their way around, returning students back in the swing of things, staff ready for another year.

Ms. Termini (and all of our amazing VCS teachers) has some wonderful things planned this year for students in art 🎨 ✍️ We loved seeing new and returning families over the past few days at back to school events, school starts officially TOMORROW! See you bright and early in the morning, we’re ready to kick off an amazing school year! 🐺 🐍 🏫

We’re back TOMORROW! Reminder that both schools will follow a minimum day schedule (check the bell schedule on the school website for timing details). TK/kinder parents: Stay for coffee and breakfast snacks in the courtyard after classroom visits tomorrow morning, and don’t forget that TK/K pick up is 9:30-9:45, depending on grade. Questions? Call the school offices.
