On Saturday, two elementary students competed in the Special Olympics Bowling Tournament of Champions. They bowled two games against 6 bowlers on their lane from 5 other counties.

AJ Ganger earned 3rd place in his division, bowling a combined score of 117. Emily Seibert earned 1st place in her division, bowling a combined score of 163. Congratulations!

Scenes from today’s fifth grade DARE graduation! This years essay winners were Keira, Bella, and Haiven. Thank you to Sheriff Riggenbach and the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Office, our own Deputy Sam Brummett, and our fifth grade teachers Mr. Niemeyer, Miss Knippen, Mrs. Breese, Mrs. Tietje as well as Mrs. Korte (fifth grade music).

Congratulations to these fourth grade students, who were honored by the American Legion for their American Flag essays! First place was a tie between Charlie and Tessa, with second place being a tie awarded to Tynan and Avery! The students are instructed in Social Studies & ELA by Mrs. Hilary Arn Social Studies as well as Miss Taylor Beining (ELA).
