A huge shoutout to our Vantage Student Ambassadors!
Our ambassadors did an awesome job this week welcoming our new junior students during orientation, helping them find their way around, answering questions and making them feel at home at Vantage!

Tomorrow is the day! The 2026–2027 school year officially begins!
We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors tomorrow morning.

Yesterday’s delivery = today’s fuel! ☕

SRO Deputy Gemmer and Mrs. Cline were all smiles yesterday when Convoy Road Coffee Roasters stopped by Vantage with some locally roasted coffee!

And the timing couldn’t be better! Our staff is officially back today! We can’t wait to share the coffee this morning alongside some donuts as we kick off a brand new school year.

A big thank you to Convoy Road for helping us Get the Edge on the first day back!

Student Parking, Pick-Up & Transportation Reminders

As we begin the school year, please keep these important parking and transportation procedures in mind:

STUDENT PARKING

-Enter through the south entrance and proceed to the far east student parking lot.
-Please fill the center parking spaces first and work your way outward.
-Vehicles parked in the middle rows must be facing south.
-Students should enter through Door #13 (Student Entrance).
-Doors will lock promptly at 8:17 a.m.

Please drive slowly, stay alert, and watch for students and other vehicles. Safety first!

PARENT/GUARDIAN DROP-OFF & PICK UP

-Parents and guardians picking up and dropping off students should use the area around the flagpole by entering the north drive.
-Please do not arrive before 2:20 p.m. for afternoon pick up.
-Student dismissal is at 2:42 p.m.

BUS TRANSPORTATION

All student bus transportation to and from Vantage is provided by each student's local school district. For questions regarding bus routes, schedules, pick-up times, or other transportation details, please contact your local school district directly.

📣 ORIENTATION REMINDER: TONIGHT & TOMORROW!

Vantage Career Center orientation will be held Monday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 18 for incoming students and their families!

Each program has been assigned a specific orientation date and time. It is important that students attend ONLY their program’s scheduled session, as meetings will begin promptly at the listed times. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend!

During orientation, new students will have the opportunity to:

-Meet their instructors
-Pick up class schedules
-Add money to lunch accounts
-Pay program fees
-Receive important information for the upcoming school year

Please refer to the schedules below for your individual program’s orientation date and time.

STUDENT AMBASSADORS:
Senior Ambassadors should arrive by 5:30 p.m. on their program’s orientation night to assist with welcoming and directing students and families.

RETURNING STUDENTS:
Students who attended Vantage last year do not need to attend orientation unless they are serving as Student Ambassadors. Returning students may pick up their class schedules and pay program fees between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on August 17 and August 18.

All program fees are $100 and may be paid online through PaySchools Central or by cash or check in the High School Office. Credit cards cannot be accepted in the High School Office.

Enrollment is now open for Vantage Adult Education’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Basic program, beginning September 22!

This 150-hour program provides the hands-on training and essential skills you need to respond when every second counts. Whether you’re preparing for a career in emergency medical services or want to serve your community as a volunteer, EMT Basic is your first step forward.

It’s always great to connect with our fellow career-tech colleagues!

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming the team from Apollo Career Center to Vantage for a visit. We enjoyed the opportunity to connect, share ideas, and show them around our campus.

As we prepare for the new school year, we'd like to remind students and families of Vantage Career Center's Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Policy.

In accordance with Ohio law, electronic communication devices are not permitted for use during the instructional day. If brought to school, devices must be powered OFF, stored in the student's locker, and may not be used until dismissal. This policy is designed to minimize distractions and help create a focused learning environment for all students.
