Today, we’re celebrating the incredible team that keeps Vantage running each and every day!

From keeping our building clean and welcoming to tackling repairs, setting up for events, maintaining our facilities, and handling the countless behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our school moving — Kyle, Tommy, Don, Isaac, Steven and Darlene do so much for our students and staff.

And a special welcome to the newest member of the team, Dekota, who isn’t pictured but is already part of the crew!

A lot of what this team does happens before we arrive, after we leave, or without anyone ever noticing, and that’s exactly why they deserve some extra recognition today.

THANK YOU for keeping Vantage clean, safe and running strong!!! Happy National Custodian Day!

This week, Congressman Jim Jordan stopped by Vantage Career Center to connect with our team, hear about what’s happening at Vantage with an update from Superintendent Rick Turner, and meet two of our Student Ambassadors, Kenadi Short and Elizabeth Graham.

Before heading out, he received a special Vantage-made gift created by senior Industrial Mechanics student Landon Saxton, who used the program’s laser equipment to design and create the piece.

We appreciate Congressman Jordan taking the time to visit Vantage and giving our students the opportunity to share a little about their Vantage experience and the skills they’re building for their futures!

From the Electricity lab at Vantage to working hands-on with ambulances at Braun Ambulances, senior Elijah is already putting his skills to work in a career with real impact!

Elijah, a Van Wert High School student and senior in Vantage’s Electricity program, is gaining real-world experience at Braun through Vantage’s Career Advanced Placement (CAP) Work-Based Learning program. CAP gives eligible seniors the opportunity to take the skills they’ve developed at Vantage and apply them directly in the workplace.

“I’m very lucky to be here. I’m learning something new every day. I love having my hands in helping save someone else’s life—it makes me feel good. I like the hands-on experience I’m getting early on.”

His supervisor says Elijah is an excellent communicator, a hard worker and very hands-on, adding that he takes constructive criticism extremely well.

Through Work-Based Learning, Elijah is continuing to build his electrical skills while gaining valuable experience working on ambulances and seeing firsthand how his work can make a difference.

👏 Keep up the great work, Elijah!

Giving back in a BIG way! ❤️
Our Vantage Student Ambassadors and Construction Equipment Technology students rolled up their sleeves today to help sort food donated during the 28th Annual United Way of Van Wert County Vantage Day of Caring!

We’re proud of our students for stepping up and lending a hand to help make a difference right here in our community. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this year’s Day of Caring a success!

Just a good ol’ 9 to 5 day at Vantage! 🎶💗

Our staff had a little extra Dolly spirit today, dressing up as the one and only Dolly Parton; from big hair and sparkles to plenty of pink!

Because working 9 to 5 is a whole lot more fun when you do it Dolly-style. ✨

A big THANK YOU to the Van Wert Moose Riders and Van Wert Moose Lodge #1320 for their generous donation in support of United Way of Van Wert County s Vantage Day of Caring!

Our Vantage Construction Equipment Technology program was proud to match their donation, doubling the impact and helping support families throughout our community.

We’re grateful for community partners who continue to step up, give back, and make a difference alongside our students and staff!
