Congratulations to the Van Wert Elementary Word of the Week Winners! This week, the following students were chosen as representatives of the word, HONORABLE: Grade 1, Hayes; Grade 2, Everly ; Grade 3, Oliver; Grade 4, Emmitt; Grade 5, Jarret. Each child received a free Mighty Kids Meal from our local McDonalds and a certificate from WERT Radio. Thank you to our generous sponsors!

The 5th graders recently wrapped up their track and field unit by competing in a track and field meet! Classes competed against each other in relays, running events, and field events of javelin, shot put, and broad jump. Winners will be announced at the End of Year Awards, so stay tuned! 🐾 🥇🥈🥉👏

Thanks to Traci McCoy and crew for organizing Right to Read Week! So many fun activities and one of them was a car show! Students were able to vote on their favorites! Here are results:
