I have thought a lot about the upcoming election and I would like you to know a few things about me before you make your decision. When I say I have lived here since birth, I don't mean that to say I am any more "special"...I mean that to say that I have seen a lot of businesses and people come and go and I have a good grasp on what thrives. I know we have had people come in with big dreams and plans, stay for awhile, and then move on down the road. It is important that the people making the decisions stay and live in the conditions they create. I am not a great "off the cuff" kind of person and my opinions are not one I usually rattle off initially; rather, I think about things through the night and research in order to calculate an opinion. In addition, I am far from a polished speaker and truly turned off by politics! Practical and good with finances, I am the type of person that always prioritizes necessities. I feel my greatest asset is that I am easy to talk to, good at looking at all sides, and I LISTEN. I am not afraid to ask questions or take a stand; however, you will rarely see me throw a fit (unless you live at my house)! Finally, I do not have any agendas or connections or friends on committees...I have a fresh outlook and just care about this town and the people in it! That is it! If you select me, or even if you don't, please know that I am open to your ideas, fears, and thoughts. Early voting starts Monday and I would love to have your support.
