Today we remember the life of Chief Leo Minor. Chief Minor retired from the Vance Police Department in 2008 and served on the Vance City Council in the years that followed . After retiring, he continued to serve in law enforcement as a deputy with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department until the day the Good Lord called him home. Chief Minor touched so many lives throughout his career in law enforcement and is loved by more than can be expressed. We ask that you remember Chief Minor’s family, the Bibb County Sheriff’s Department and all of his brothers and sisters in law enforcement. Please keep them in your prayers in the days ahead.
