This week's kids' craft was an edible dirt cup! We had lots of fun learning about the soil layers and crunching cookies.

Next Tuesday, 6/23, join us at 1 pm to learn how to write your name in Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics. We have special papyrus paper just for the occasion! For grades 1st through 8th.

🎉 Congratulations 🎉 to our first kid and teen readers to turn in completed 2026 Summer Reading Challenge logs.

Remember to return your reading logs as soon as you're done, so that you can get a new reading log and keep counting your hours!

This summer, we're also offering some more advanced crafts for older kids (ages 11 to 16)! Our first pre-teen and teen craft will be this Wednesday, 6/10 at 4pm. We'll be making these sparkly faux opal keychains and learning about geology! Other pre-teen and teen crafts will be:

🪡 7/8- T. Rex cross stitch

🦕 7/22- dino egg bath bombs

Tomorrow, 6/9 at 1 pm, elementary and middle school aged children can join us for our weekly kids' craft! This week we're talking about archaeology and making mini pottery. Next week, on 6/16, we're making edible dirt (with gummy worms included)!

The amazing Ms. Kara does it again! We had a great turn out for our STEAM program today, where the kids learned all about geodes and geology. We have many more fun kids programs planned for June and July, and we can't wait to see you!

One of the fun activities we're doing this summer is a Stick Together puzzle: a collaborative project that's a bit like a paint-by-number, but with stickers! Each time you return your books, we'll give you a couple stickers to add to the poster, and by the end of the summer, it will reveal a surprise dinosaur picture!
