While we love a good hot dog with all the fixings for National Hot Dog Day, today is also a great reminder to NEVER leave your four-legged friends in a hot car, not even for a minute!

Even in 80-degree weather, the temperature inside a car can reach 123 degrees.

LC Fiscal Court Animal Shelter wants to thank everyone that had donated this past year of 2025. We hope to see the continuing support of the community for the upcoming year.
We also want to thank everyone that donated to the angel tree this year it was a great success. We had received approximately 70 blankets, 4 new dog beds, several toys and treats, and couple bags of food. We at the LC Fiscal Court Animal Shelter appreciate the donations, as well as wishing everyone a happy New Year with lots to come.
We are truly sorry for the videos of the individual dogs, due to the large amount of dogs in the shelter it takes extra time to care and extra time for play time.
