To the dedicated staff and service members of the 313th Hospital Center:
As we approach this holiday season, I want to express my deepest gratitude for your unwavering commitment to our mission and the exceptional care you provide. Your dedication and professionalism have been instrumental in our success this year.
The holidays are a special time to reconnect with family and friends, both near and far. I encourage you to reach out to loved ones you haven't spoken with in a while, whether through a phone call, video chat, or if possible, in person. These connections are vital to our well-being and help sustain us through challenging times. For those separated from family due to distance or duty, consider organizing virtual gatherings or creating new traditions with your Hospital Center family.
I encourage each of you to take this opportunity to spend quality time with your loved ones and practice self-care. Whether you're traveling to reunite with family or staying local to celebrate with friends, please remain vigilant about safety. Drive carefully, have a plan if consuming alcohol, and look out for one another.
To those who will be on duty during the holidays, thank you for your sacrifice. Your service ensures that our mission continues uninterrupted, and we are grateful for your dedication. The teamwork and professionalism displayed by our personnel continue to be one of our greatest strengths.
As we look toward 2025, I want to be straightforward with you - we can expect significant missions ahead. However, having witnessed your outstanding performance, adaptability, and dedication throughout this year, I have absolute confidence that we will kick ass in whatever challenges come our way. Our unit's strength lies in our commitment to excellence, compassion, and teamwork. These values will continue to guide us in the coming year.
Remember to check on your battle buddies during this season – not everyone finds the holidays easy, and sometimes a simple gesture of kindness can make a significant difference. Consider including those who might be far from home in your holiday celebrations. Our strength as an organization comes from supporting one another.
May this holiday season bring you and your families joy, peace, and cherished moments together. Stay safe, take care of each other, and return refreshed for the new year ahead.
Best wishes for a safe and happy holiday season.
