Instead of lowering costs or helping Washingtonians, Trump is willing to disrupt travel, hurt our economy, and punish entire cities just because they won’t carry out his cruel mass deportation agenda.
One thing is clear: WA won’t be bullied into abandoning our values.

Tim Probst champions all of us!!

"My wife and I proudly sent our four children to Battle Ground Public Schools. Now, I’m deeply disappointed to see Battle Ground’s mayor shamefully embracing proclamations about ICE and promoting fear and division in our community. We’re struggling with real-world issues like affordable housing, good jobs, and healthcare coverage, and he’s importing national culture wars.

Even more importantly, the people of Clark County love our neighbors who are Black, brown, Jewish, Islamic, Christian, LGBTQ+ or have a disability. They are all Americans, they all are welcome here, and we love them. Shouldn’t you, Mr. Mayor?

The mayor and his local political masters think they are “Christian patriots,” but they are miles off course from “love thy neighbor” and “all people are created equal.” Real patriotism, true Christianity, and every religion and code of ethics teach us to love our neighbors, welcome the stranger, and care for vulnerable people.

Spreading fear, exclusion, and suspicion toward immigrants is un-American, un-Christian, and unethical by any standard. Solve local problems, strengthen community, and stop importing national culture wars into City Hall. Battle Ground is for all of us."

Is the cruelty the point?

Is the cruelty the point?

Wendy Hernandez Reyes denies she “abandoned” her son, as ICE claimed. In an extraordinary act, she was allowed to come back to the U.S. for his burial.
