WSDOT Transportation Resilience Improvement Plan (TRIP) Study survey now available!

We’re helping the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) spread the word about a new public survey for the Transportation Resilience Improvement Plan (TRIP).

The TRIP will examine how natural hazards including wildfires, flooding, landslides, and earthquakes could affect the roads, bridges, and other transportation connections we rely on every day. The plan will look at both today’s risks and future conditions due to climate change.

Your input will help shape this plan and supports environmental justice. Feedback from this survey will help guide how WSDOT prioritizes future projects and other actions to make our transportation system more resilient to extreme weather and natural hazards. It is designed for general members of the public, not practitioners, and focuses on lived experience and priorities.

The survey is open now, and respondents will have the chance to enter a drawing for one of two $100 gift cards after it closes on January 30.
