SAFPAC {noun}: "A non-partisan association advocating for college student’s interests while encouraging an environment for young adults and students to hold public office at the local, state and federal level." We are concerned about the future of America, not only for our generation but for younger generations as well. Our concerns stem from observing a debt clock that continues to grow, the astr
onomical out of college unemployment rate, and a political system more focused on reelection than finding solutions to America's concerns. There are many lobbyists on Capitol Hill, yet none directly serve the concerns and issues of the newest voting class from a non-partisan standpoint. We are young Americans who will serve as lobbyists on Capitol Hill and State Capitols to express the concerns our generation is faced with. Students for America's Future stands resolute in solving the issues facing America as we pursue a better path for today, and a brighter future for tomorrow. Work at Students for America's Future is based on the principles that have and will be continue to guide our organization:
1. Supporting innovation in education and financial security for young Americans, no matter the affiliation of the supporting legislators.
2. Informing the students and young professionals which we represent of the issues most pertinent to our future.
3. Lobbying our representatives in Washington and in state houses to ensure that the issues concerning our future are given the voice they deserve.
4. Advocating for pragmatic solutions for tomorrow, as opposed to convenient solutions for today. Principles
Students For America's Future believes that the following are true concerning the state of American political engagement:
1. A climate of ultra-partisan politics fosters regression, not progression.
2. Reclaiming the American Dream isn't a Democratic or Republican issue, but rather a pragmatic issue.
3. Those in civil service who are offering innovative proposals are not being supported as they deserve to be.
