Awesome moment last night with former Van-Far band member Katelyn Sutton who performed with her Missouri State Pride Band of 360 members as a preview for their opening show at Robert W. Plaster stadium. Little bit of a difference from the size of the Van-Far band… always awesome seeing alumni taking their talents to the next level. Good luck at your first year of college Katelyn!

Hope you had a great summer and are feeling rested and recharged. Here are the upcoming dates for our summer band camp! Please make sure your student comes prepared with their instrument, athletic clothes and shoes, and plenty of water as it will be hot. Also, be sure that your MSHSAA medical forms for school activities are up to date. You can contact the front office on August 1st or later if you have questions about this.

All those participating in the cardinals baseball game sing along on June 28th, there is a practice to sing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” at the Van-Far Elementary music room: JUNE 19th at 10:00am. Please show up for rehearsal and information about the game on the 28th. Go cards!
