VSFB SLP will be partnering with Operation Homefront this year for our annual Salute to Youth Event happening at Balfour Beatty August 1st from 11:00-1:30. To qualify for a free backpack your student/s must be school aged (Tk-12th grade). With combined partnerships we will have 200 free backpacks filled with school supplies.

Operation Homefront’s Back-to-School Brigade® is back!
This summer, Operation Homefront will distribute 40,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to military children across the country. 🎒 📝

Summer often brings big changes and added expenses for military families—relocations, rising costs, and back-to-school prep can all hit at once. That’s why our Back-to-School Brigade® is here: to help ease that burden by providing free, high-quality school supplies so military kids can start the school year confident and ready to succeed.

This effort wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our partners over the past 18 years. We’re especially grateful to Southern New Hampshire University for returning as the program’s lead sponsor for the third year and to Dollar Tree and their shoppers, whose generous donations of supplies make a lasting impact.
