Franklin Township Residents:
Our road crew is prepared for the upcoming snowstorm and we will work hard to keep Township roads clear and safe. We have plenty of salt and ashes. We urge you to use caution and stay home if you can. Please do not leave vehicles in the roadways, especially in our patch towns of Bitner, Juniata and Smock. If your vehicle blocks or sticks out onto the street, we will not be able to get our snow plows through. Thank you for your cooperation, patience, and understanding as we venture through the next few days. Stay safe!

Franklin Elementary School Students desperately need your help!! The Uniontown Area School Board is proposing to close Franklin. Please email, call, and text the school board members with your thoughts, concerns, and reasons why Franklin school should stay open. Franklin has the highest number of students on the honor roll each 9 weeks, and members participating in National Honor Society, PJAS at Penn State Main, Reading Team, Fluid Power Project, and Quiz Bowl.
