Let's ensure we do our part to help them reach their destination!

Go for migration! Birds need our help for safe travel at night this spring. By turning off or dimming non-essential landscape, interior, and exterior lighting each night, you can help prevent bird collisions โ€“ and it saves you
money!

Remember, Park day use pass reservations can be made online thirty days out. Plan ahead, it fills up quickly this time of the year!

It's fall, y'all!

During the autumn season, the park tends to get very lively. To guarantee your entry into the park on any given day, youโ€™ll want to make day-use reservations. You can make day-use reservations up to 30 days in advance. Be sure to confirm the date that you are booking and the entry time since entry is broken up into time slots.

You can make reservations either online at
https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/lost-maples
or by calling the customer service center at
(512) 389 โ€“ 8900

Be sure to drive slowly in the park. There are a lot of people and critters enjoying the park! Lastly, be prepared with plenty of water. Our autumn days are still usually hot.

Pictured: The beautiful yellow blooms of a Lindheimer's Senna can be found all over the area during the late summer and into the early part of fall.
