📣❤️ MINI CHEER CAMP IS COMING! ❤️📣

We are so excited to announce our Vanlue Mini Cheer 2026! 🐾

Forms will be sent home with students on Wednesday, September 9th, when we return to school, and will be due back by Friday, September 11th.

We know this is a quick turnaround, so we wanted to share the information on Facebook now to help get the word out to families! ❤️🩶

🌟 Mini Cheer Camp is open to ALL girls in Preschool–6th grade!
You do NOT have to attend Vanlue School to participate! We would love to welcome homeschool students and girls from neighboring schools and communities to join us, too!

📣 Practices:
Monday, September 14 & Wednesday, September 16
⏰ 3:00–4:00 PM
📍 Vanlue School Cafeteria

🏈 Performance: Friday, September 18
Our mini cheerleaders will perform with the Vanlue Cheerleaders during the 1st quarter of the football game!

Vanlue students will also have the opportunity to perform during our school pep rally that day. Please note that the pep rally performance is only available to students who attend Vanlue School.

🚗 IMPORTANT TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION:
Parents/guardians are responsible for making arrangements to get their child to and from practices on time, as well as to and from the football game. Girls must be picked up promptly at 4:00 PM after practices.

👕 Cost is $20 per cheerleader and includes a Mini Cheer T-shirt! Families with more than one girl participating will receive $5 off for each additional cheerleader.

🎟 Mini cheerleaders will get into the football game FREE; family members will need to pay regular admission.

This past Saturday, our football team had a fantastic opportunity to attend the Pro Football Hall of Fame after their game against Leetonia. We want to thank all of the the people who donated from the community to make this opportunity happen. The football team is back in action tonight at home against Beachwood with a 7pm kickoff!

On this gorgeous day, we ventured to Vanlue Local School to discuss an exciting upcoming career exploration project for elementary students. We can’t wait to bring this opportunity to life!

The Vanlue Wildcat Marching Band led off the band show at the Hancock County Fair tonight with their show titled “Road Trip Songs.” Great job band!

Thank you to Mr. Thebeau and Mrs. Nielsen for all of your hard work to prepare the band for the fall marching season.

King and Queen voting will take place closer to Homecoming festivities on Friday, September 25.

We are looking to highlight more of our community this year. Please fill this out! This survey collects information for a feature on our school’s students, staff, and alumni. Share as much as you feel comfortable sharing. Your responses may be edited for clarity and used in school publications, on the school website, or on social media. We'll select for student, alumni, and teacher features at random, and we are happy to feature as many people as possible. Features will be shared on the Vanlue page.
