The Center is a not-for-profit corporation governed by its own Board of Directors. Many programs are offered in partnership with other agencies. However, ALL programs and services are available to seniors and their families regardless of membership.

This month we are delighted to announce the return of Barbara Gustafson with another fun and unique opportunity to learn basket weaving.

Join us at the Center's Memorial Garden for this informal creative activity.
As we craft our very own berry basket, we will learn weaving exploration through traditional weaving techniques, spend time relaxing with friends while creating something uniquely your own. All supplies will be provided.

Barb loves weaving and thinks you will too.

Here at Vashon Senior Center, we are dedicated to providing seniors with not only practical services but activities and connections that contribute to an overall enriched life.

Many of these programs couldn’t be made possible without the time and care of all of our wonderful volunteers.

If you’d like to volunteer on our FUN Committee, attend a meeting or call the center to find out more.

Our next meeting is on June 3rd.

Rain or shine, the Block Party is ready!! The grill is fired up at the Senior Center, Riverbend starts at 1:30, and Heritage Museum Lawn Games & VIFR Fire Engine fun will kick off after this morning’s event at Vashon Cemetery. Come on down and enjoy!
