Current tenant is great and loves her conveniently located abode, however life circumstances is taking her off island. Looking for a responsible single person or couple wanting to make Vashon their home for a couple of years. As the owner, I live in the cabin 40 feet away, but am getting ready to move overseas. Occasional house-sitter will occupy cabin year-round. Available March 1st. Rent $1375 plus water (Water District #19; ~$80 every two months), electricity, (each house has its own separate meter with PSE) and cable. You're responsible for garbage and recycling. Lawn care provided during the growing season. This is a special place: quaint, with lots of privacy, apple tree, strawberries, raspberries, vegetable gardens in raised beds (all organic), maintained yard, and a 20-minute walk to the center of Vashon! Ideal for a single person or couple (grandfathered septic system limits to a small family) who loves to garden organically. Owner lives in second house (small cabin) 40 feet away, separated by a privacy fence. Each house has a separate PSE meter. The "right fit" is most important to me, as I live on the property, although I will be moving overseas for a long-term job assignment in the coming months.
