Vashon Maury Community Food Bank

We believe that access to nutritious food and supporting resources is a basic human right!

We offer an average of 60 pounds of basic food to anyone in need during our three weekly grocery distributions. We provide a wide range of proteins, fruits and veggies, grains and dairy, including fresh and frozen items. Home Delivery is provided twice a week for those that cannot make it to the Food Bank to shop due to physical or transportation issues. We have information for other available loc

al services and resources, and we host the DSHS mobile van on Wednesday mornings, about every six weeks. We provide other social service organizations with emergency bags of food for those in immediate need at times when the food bank is not open. The Food Bank Farm and Garden is an effort to grow some of our own fresh produce while offering hands on experience about growing vegetables.

Join us tomorrow: Friday, May 15th from 12-3 PM at the John L. Scott Real Estate Office (13401 Vashon Hwy SW) for a chance to safely dispose of your confidential documents while supporting the Vashon Maury Community Food Bank.

-Secure on-site shredding
-Up to 10 boxes or bags per vehicle
-Donations gladly accepted - cash, check, Venmo, or non-perishable food items
every contribution goes directly to helping neighbors in need, with 100% of proceeds benefiting our local food bank.

Stop by, enjoy some fresh-baked treats, say hello, and let us help you tackle a little spring cleaning while giving back to the community at the same time!
