Vassar Chamber of Commerce Chamber of Commerce The Vassar Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1979, and has been in operation since then.

Our aim is to add value to and promote Vassar area businesses, and help businesses connect to each other. We do this through events, building relationships, promoting member businesses, and providing members useful information. If you or your business would like to benefit from the services we offer, please contact us. Dues are very reasonable and barter arrangements are also possible. Good morning Vassar!

Unfortunately, we have news. Due to too many empty board seats we no longer have enough members to continue operations. This means we will not be sending our yearly letter for membership dues, and planning on all future events has stopped. It wouldn't be right for us to continue fundraising and charging dues when we cannot execute any future engagements.

We do have someone who volunteered as president, but that leaves open seats for:
- Vice president
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Plus six open seats

Without a full board we cannot operate and function as we should. Unfortunately this means all Riverfest planning has also halted.

Should we regain enough members we will be happy to serve you in the future, but as of now the chamber has disbanded. If you have interest in joining, you can message us and we can plan from there.

Thank you for allowing us to serve your needs, it has truly been a pleasure to serve the community!

It's come to my attention that several places have received phone calls as people identifying as the chamber in the hopes of getting "donations" or funding.

Please let us know if you get unsolicited calls or messages before you hand over any funds. Generally things like this are prearranged, and the places we contact are well aware ahead of time. We would be devastated to see any place struggle for something that isn't authentic.
