Good day friends!
Mother Cell RADio airing tonight( 5/2/26) 4-6 p.m , Pacific on Kocf.org( if you miss it, you will find it in our archives).
Tonight, I explore time and musical medicine as the rhythm and message, fill our cell’s and our tomorrow’s. Here is what you will find on this weeks edition of Mother Cell RADio.
Time is tight( clash)
So we use our Time ( Pink Floyd) wisely to find something new from Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band( Time). It’s Been Too Long( new Ringo Starr) since we’ve had a Hour Of Magic( Jim Morrison/ The Doors) while Transmitting To The Blind Guard( Lucille Furs) that we are the Crown Of Creation( Jefferson Airplane). I was lucky, Lou Reed Was My Babysitter( Wilco) and I grew up on Rock and Roll ( Velvet Underground). I grew up dreaming of Home and Away( Humble Pie), because it’s fun and Good 2Be( Goose) Prince Caspian(Phish)Picking Dragon’s Pockets( Modest Mouse), I’d exclaim WAP{ what a predicament}( The Claypool Lennon Delirium) we have been left in! Fortunately gratitude tells me “ look how far we’ve come( more Modest Mouse)with Street Music( Trombone Shorty), it turns to All Day Music (War). It’s a trip because Music is a Color( Crawling Eye), The Music That We Hear(Moorcheeba, please and thank you) tells us- Music is Love( Glenn Phillips) Music isn’t Biased( Raging Fiya) , Everyone Deserves Music( Michael Franti and Spearhead) especially Reggae Music( UB-40)because Music Is In Everything( Ziggy Marley& Lisa Loeb) and Music Is My Medicine ( Cha Wha).
Music( Ace of Cups), Rock And Roll Music( The Beatles), makes me wonder , If I Were Music( Poi Dog Pondering ) would I First Do No Harm(more Lucille Furs) and Do Good( The Mammals) to create a Glorious Lethal Euphoria with the Mermen sending us home again with Brahm’s 3 rd Symphony 3rd Movement.
Real people make unique radio. Catch the soundscape as we ride the airwaves of Kocf.org with Mother Cell RADio.
