Memorize Sentences, Not Only New Words!
When you learn a new word, don't limit yourself by memorizing only the meaning.
Learn how to use the new word in multiple sentences and memorize the sentences.
Example:
Excel
Verb • be exceptionally good at or proficient in an activity or subject.
•The young youth excelled at football.
•He excels all other football players in the industry.
