💙Grandparents hold a special place in our hearts.
They are the storytellers, the caregivers, the teachers, and often the ones who helped shape who we are today. Their wisdom, love, and memories become part of our family’s story.
But not every grandparent is able to remain at home. Many older adults spend their later years living in long-term care — and some may not have family or friends who are able to visit regularly.
This is a reminder to remember those who may be missing from the family table. Take a moment to call, visit, send a card, or simply let someone know they are remembered and valued.
Every resident deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and cared for.
This Grandparents Day, let’s celebrate the grandparents in our lives — and remember the many grandparents in long-term care who may be waiting for a friendly face, a listening ear, or a little extra connection. 💕
