Dear Provider,

The rise in two-income and single-parent families has created great demand for quality child care—and nutritious meals are an essential element in a quality child care facility! As a caregiver, you have a tremendous influence in determining the future health and well-being of the children in your care. The nutritious meals you serve provide the “buildi

ng blocks” necessary to sustain a child’s physical and cognitive development. You, in partnership with parents and the Ventura Child Care Food Program, can build a solid “foundation for the future” for our children, as they mature from childhood to adulthood, and someday, to parenthood. Ventura Child Care Food Program (VCCFP), partnered with the USDA, is here to provide you with child nutrition education and financial assistance. Together, we will create a well-rounded nutrition program for your child care business!

Just a reminder as we head into Summer break! ☀

Any child that is scheduled to attend school (including headstart. preschool and kindergarten) must have 'No School' selected when marking attendance (this can be selected by clicking the 3 lines on the right side of each child's name bar) each and every day of any school break, holiday, or minimum day for AM Snack and Lunch. If the 'No School' option is not selected we cannot reimburse Am Snack or Lunch for any child enrolled in school (headstart, preschool, kindergarten or above).
